Homemade rabbit stew

Preparation: 

The giblets are removed, the paws are cut off up to the first wrist. Rabbit is cut into pieces, sprinkle with salt, pepper, chopped onions, chopped herbs, splash with wine, vinegar and oil and leave to marinate in the fridge for 3-6 hours (if the rabbit is young) or 15-20 hours (if it is old). Sprinkle the marinated meat with chili pepper and fry in a hot pan, then transfer to a saucepan, add 3-4 tablespoons of broth, the same amount of wine, salt to taste and stew, periodically pouring the meat with the sauce, which forms during cooking. At the end add minced garlic and chopped herbs.

The meal is served with mamaliga.
