Raw material growth. Combined fodder production.

The agricultural department is responsible for growing alfalfa and grain crops. We use only organic fertilizers to cultivate farmland, so all livestock manure from the farm is used to fertilize the soil. 

Another very important thing we emphasize is the observance of the 10-year crop rotation. We are aware that only through the development of animal husbandry is it possible to maintain balance in nature - a fundamental thing in the practice of high-performance agriculture.

Alfalfa is not only a useful plant for animals, but also a good precursor for other crops.

From the beginning of the business it was the idea to buy the fodder for rabbits, but in the process of development we came to the conclusion that we have to produce the fodder ourselves.

In 2016 we rebuilt the building of the fodder production hall and imported the equipment for the preparation of granulated compound fodder for rabbits.  Through our own fodder production, we have the possibility to keep control of the quality during the entire production chain. The basic component of the fodder is alfalfa, which we grow ourselves on an area of ​​50 hectares.

In 2020 after increasing the growth capacity of our rabbits, we also were able to renew upgrade and the machinery for our fodder production in 2021. Today we have reached a closed production cycle consisting of the following stages:

• Raw material growth (cereals, alfalfa, etc.)
• Production of combined fodder.
• Livestock breeding.
• Slaughtering and processing.
• Packaging of the rabbit meat and other meat products.
• Delivery of products to commercial networks throughout the country.
